Do women still have to fight for their rights?

I think that not all women have to fight for their rights. Only a few need to fight for them, like in those countries less evolved, like African and Asian countries etc. Women in those kind of countries don’t have some of the basic rights… A very good example is in some tribs, women cant do what men do, their job is just to cook, have children, take care of them etc. Although tradition is important, I think that those women could fight for their rights.

What does freedom mean to you?

I see freedom, like a right that every one should have, but it’s not that simple, some people don’t have that luxury. Some people aren’t free at all, and others have too much freedom. That’s the problem.
People confuse freedom, with ‘’we can do whatever we want’’, that’s not it, that’s why there is people who are in jail, they think they can do whatever they want, and so they break the law and end up locked up.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Article 4.
·         No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.

Article 5.
·         No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment

-          I chose this 2 articles, because they have many things in common, no one shall be held in slavery and no one shall be submitted to torture are both 2 common things, because one thing implies the other. A person becomes a slave after being submitted to some kind of torture, because no one wants to be slave of another person. I completely agree with these 2 articles, these kinds of treatments are both inhuman and cruel to apply to a human being of for that matter to any living form.
